Nokia’s latest venture “The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic” is all set to hit the Indian markets in the beginning of the next year.Priced at around 21000 first signs are that it’s a phone worth waiting for.Experts feel it has the potential to give Apple a run for the money especially in the digital music segment that it has dominated.

Some of the salient features of this cell phone are as follows :
  • A large 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 16 million colors.
  • Built-in accelerometer that takes care of automatic screen rotation activity.
  • A powerful 3.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, LED flash and video capturing.
  • QWERTY keyboard, alphanumeric keypad and a pen stylus to give text messaging and SMSing a new user experience.
  • Nokia Maps which helps in locating a destination along with a GPS server with voice navigation. To add to it has a handwriting recognition software, haptic touch technology and Mobile Transfer Protocol support.
  • Various software applications like Media Bar, Nokia Music PC client and Windows Media Player are also there to enhance the user experience.
  • It also supports 3G, which can be very handy in faster web browsing.
